Smart silver brushed aluminum Toshiba Satellite E55T-A5320 is a 15.6 inch touch screen ultrabook with great looks, features, 4th generation processor speed and power, reliability and durability by the computer giant Toshiba at a decent price.

Toshiba Satellite E55T-A5320 has a Haswell Intel Core i5-4200U (3 MB Cache) processor with smart quad-core processing power at 1.6GHz speed that goes up to 2.6GHz with Turbo Boost function that is capable of giving you the extra speed when your task requires it and power efficient in other times. You won't need that much speed with your regular daily things and it will run at energy efficient mode and when you run programs like Dreamweaver or Photoshop, the system will increase the speed quickly and efficiently.

4GB DDR3L module durable, power efficient, fast and better performing system memory for smooth multitasking and is expandable to a maximum of 16GB and 500GB ATA-2 hard drive at 5400 rpm rotating speed for adequate storage space and speed. This Toshiba Satellite being an ultrabook, it would have been nice to see a Solid State Drive but what you're getting is a standard size serial ATA hard drive. But if you'd like to upgrade the machine for better power and faster boot-ups, an SSD is your best bet. Windows 8.1 operating system (64-bit) with its customisable tiles is quite easy to use on a touch screen laptop- navigation feels so much more convenient.

15.6 inch LED-backlit TruBrite Technology TFT HD widescreen touch display with 1366 x 768 maximum pixel resolution supporting 720p content and Mobile Intel HD graphics offers nice visuals, clarity and powerful graphics. You will enjoy viewing media on this screen. Intel WiDi- Wireless Display will allow you to stream videos, photos or songs from your laptop or ultrabook to your large screen HDTV. It also comes with a high definition webcam and a built-in microphone for chatting on Skype or video-conferencing.

Smart silver brushed aluminium finish Toshiba Satellite not only looks great but is also quite light and slim for a 15.6 inch screen machine- 0.9 inch thick and weighs just 4.7 lbs so it is quite a portable machine for when you're out and about. It comes with a LED backlit keyboard that makes it easier for you to work in dim light and comfortable keys. You also have the 10 key numeric keypad on the right for convenient number crunching. It doesn't include an optical DVD drive but comes with a Bluetooth 4.0, Intel Wireless-N 7260 2x2 LAN 802.11b/g/n, built-in 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 1 x USB 2.0 port, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x Audio-out port, HDMI port for easy connection to larger screens, a headphone jack, Media Card Reader that supports 6 formats and HD Webcam with microphone.

Conclusion: Toshiba Satellite E55T-A5320 is a reasonably priced machine in the expensive ultrabook market. It doesn't offer the highest technical specs but great for how much you're paying. It looks awesome with its smart silver color and brushed aluminium finish, has a responsive 15.6 inch touch screen to use with the latest Windows 8.1, decent graphics and audio, fast and powerful performance thanks to the quad-core Haswell i5 processor and the capable DDR3L RAM (surfing the net with a few browsers open, working on Microsoft Office or any other demanding tasks). Great value for money!
