Red HP Pavilion 15-dw0083wm with Intel Pentium Silver N5000

Newest HP Pavilion Intel Pentium Silver N5000 4GB 128GB SSD

The newest 2020 release red HP Pavilion 15-dw0083wm is a 15.6-inch laptop for work and entertainment with a HD non-touch display, Pentium Silver N5000 processor, Intel HD 605 graphics, 128GB Solid State Drive, 4GB DDR4 memory and Windows 10 in S mode operating system.

It is rated a 4.4 out of 5 stars by 9 users at the time of this product review.  The quad-core Pentium Silver N5000 processor runs at the speeds between a base speed of 1.1GHz and a turbo max speed of 2.7GHz. The 4GB DDR4 memory at 2400MHz offers adequate multitasking for having a few browser tabs and programs open at once without any delays or freezing. 128GB Solid State Drive is good amount of local storage space if you don’t have many multimedia files and makes the system start and shut down quickly and open the files very quickly without any delays.

15.6-inch WLED-backlit SVA BrightView diagonal micro-edge high definition screen has the 1366 x 768-pixel resolution and 16:9 image aspect ratio. It is obviously not as sharp as a Full HD display, but still great for the price level of this laptop. Intel UHD 620 graphics is good enough for your daily internet surfing, video streaming or playing light games at the reasonable settings and resolutions. There is a high definition HP Truevision webcam on the top bezel for your live video chats. It has the built-in dual array digital microphones and with the good quality stereo speakers you can have a nice video chat with your friends, with good sound and picture quality.

HP Pavilion Intel Pentium Silver N5000 4GBDTS Studio Sound and the built in stereo speakers seem to be above average quality for a laptop at the price point. The screen to body ratio is 81% on this machine and you have more viewing space on the screen. The red 15.6″ HP Pavilion weighs 3.95 pounds and measures 14.9 x 10 x 0.9 inches- is slim and fairly lightweight for a large screen laptop. It has a sleek, compact and portable design.

Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, 2 x USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a Media Card Reader, and an HDMI output. The battery life is up to 10 hours and 45 minutes and you can charge it up to 50% in just 45 minutes with the HP Fast Charge feature.  It comes with the Office 365 with a free 30-day trial, which you need to pay for if you wish to continue using it. It is easy to switch from the Windows 10 in S (safe mode) to the regular Windows 10 Home version through the Microsoft store. S mode means you can only install the software or apps authorized and monitored by Windows. This computer has enough power for most things you’d do on a computer except for gaming or using the complex multimedia or engineering software.
