The newest HP Envy 17t Touch is a 17.3-inch touchscreen laptop with a 10th generation Intel i7-10510U processor, entry level NVIDIA MX250 graphics card, 1TB SSD, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Windows 10 Pro version, DVD Optical Drive, 3 years McAfee security, Bang & Olufsen Audio and more.

It has an average customer rating of 5 out of 5 stars by only a few users at the moment, having appeared at Amazon.com only recently. The quarter two of 2019 release ultra low voltage Intel i7-10510U processor (8MB cache, 4 cores and 8 threads) runs at a base speed of 18GHz up to 4.90GHz. It has a Passmark benchmark score of 9650 at the moment. So it can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, including heavy multitasking and running advanced graphics and other software.

This multitasking power is further enhanced by the 16GB DDR4 SDRAM memory (2 x 8GB) at 2666MHz speed that will allow you to have many browsers and apps open simultaneously. 1TB PCI NVMe SSD is great to have for both local storage space and speed. Windows 10 Professional version comes pre-installed on this modern 17″ computer and comes with a McAfee Security Key that is valid for three years. The HP BIOS Recovery is included for protecting your laptop from possible corruption.

HP Envy 17t Touch weighs 6.14 pounds and measures 15.94 x 10.47 x 0.88 inches- it is fairly slim and lightweight for its 17-inch size. It supports most Stylus pens if you wish to use it with a pen. For connectivity you have the DVD Writer, 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 5 combo (MU-MIMO support), 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only) ports, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge) port and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C (Data Transfer Only) port, an HDMI output, a Media Card slot and a Headphone and Microphone combo.

17.3″ diagonal Full HD WLED UWVA 3-way micro-edge touchscreen has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and IPS panel with the large viewing angles. The dedicated graphics card is the entry level NVIDIA GeForce MX250 with a dedicated memory of 4GB GDDR5 for beginner to intermediate gaming performance and shall be more than enough for your daily graphics tasks. The HP Wide Vision HD webcam with dual digital microphones is located on the top bezel.

The backlit keyboard has a separate numeric pad on the side and the Imagepad that supports multi-touch gestures. Sound quality is decent- rich and authentic through the dual built-in speakers and Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost. You also have the integrated Privacy Camera Kill Switch for privacy protection and a fingerprint reader that lets you log in smoothly and easily. The typical Thermal Design Power- TDP is 15 watts on this machine and the battery life is around 7-8 hours on average use. You can play the modern games at low settings even though the benchmark is about 5% faster than the previous MX150. It appears to be good value for money overall and comes with a year of HP warranty and customer support when you need assistance.
