Everything will feel snappier on this laptop, not just when you’re turning the machine on and off or opening the files. You can add more storage easily through the 2.5″ HDD/SSD slot. The high bandwidth 16GB DDR4 SDRAM at 2666MHz is placed on two sockets as 2 x 8GB. And the maximum amount of memory supported is 64GB if you need that much at all. It has a 6-cell 51Wh 230W lithium ion battery that lasts around two hours on average, with such a powerful processor and a dedicated graphics card.

The built-in graphics card is the Intel UHD 630 iGPU that is similar to the previous UHD 630 GPU. It offers entry level performance and will be used for your usual non-demanding daily tasks. Sound quality is quite good through the 2 x 3-watt stereo speakers. The computer is easy to set up, screen quality is great, keyboard is impressive with the per key RGB, offers plenty of power and speed, cooling is adequate, and the sound is very good if you use headphones or external speakers. MSI GL65 weighs 5.07 pounds and measures 14.08 x 9.76 x 1.08 inches. The build quality is very good but the chassis attracts finger prints. You may have a bit of portability issues with the very large RTX 2070 graphics card and the big power supply. And the fans can make a bit of noise during gaming, which you can sort out by turning up the volume or using a headset. For how much it costs we think that it is one of the best gaming laptops out there. It is very much worth looking into if you’re on the market for a solid gaming machine. You can play all the games on the market at very high FPS, in 4K resolution and without stutters.
