Black Lenovo IdeaCentre H505s is the latest of innovative Lenovo's basic desktop computers with standard features and a very reasonable price tag. Hassle free, saves on space with its compact size, has a modest style, works quietly and offers durability, while providing a considerable set of entertainment and efficiency functions.

AMD E-Series Dual-Core E2-1800 processor at 1.7 GHz speed, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333 MHz, 1 TB SATA 7200 RPM hard drive.. AMD's dual core processor shall be quite all right for the majority of your needs. Four cores would of course be better but not necessary to run things efficiently, dual cores are more than enough.

4GB RAM is also adequate for multitasking, although more memory wouldn't hurt to perform more power stuff and you can upgrade it later. I like the 1TB massive hard disk and wasn't expecting it at this cost range. You'd need to save very large multimedia files everyday to get to the limit.

Windows 8 comes pre-installed on the new Lenovo IdeaCentre, and you may update it to Windows 8.1 cost-free. Incorporated AMD Radeon HD graphics is again not designed for the most advanced video games but quite OK for most of your needs like watching movies and browsing the internet or even updating photo albums and the surround sound support will give you decent audio through any speakers.

Lenovo IdeaCentre H505s Desktop Review
Black sleek gun-metal gray style Lenovo Ideacenter desktop weighs just 11 pounds and has the dimensions of 11.54 x 3.94 x 15.75 inches, so it is quite small and lightweight for a desktop. But it does not compromise on the connection choices.

You have 4 X USB 2.0 Ports, 2 X USB 3.0 Ports, 1 x DVDRW optical drive, 1 x Audio-out Port, 1 x HDMI output and a 7-in-1 card media card reader. Lenovo Rescue System enables you to recover your system and the files with the easy touch of a button.

Conclusion: Lenovo IdeaCentre H505s is a basic and affordable yet high quality desktop computer for your day-to-day home or school computing needs. It is the convenience, compact size, simplicity of use and reliability, but not so much the extreme power factor..

You'll see it is one of the less pricey desktops on Amazon.com, but certainly not slow or cheaply made. Not the strongest gaming machine yet can still easily run a wide range of games. If you'd like an affordable computer that will be great at your everyday computer stuff, then this Lenovo is a good choice.
