Silver Dell New XPS 13 9300 (XPS9300-7909SLV-PUS) is a very sleek and modern laptop constructed with a machined aluminium and a carbon fiber palm rest. It comes with a 13.4-inch FHD+ InfinityEdge touchscreen display, the latest tenth generation Intel i7-1065G7 processor, 512GB SSD storage, 16GB LPDDR4x memory and Windows 10 Pro operating system. Being a very new computer at, there is a single review and a star rating of 5 stars.

You have the option to get the XPS13 as a 2-in-1 convertible (XPS 13 7390) with 32GB RAM (XPS7390-7954SLV-PUS) or in regular mode with 32GB memory and 2TB Solid State Drive (XPS9300-7916SLV-PUS). The quad-core Intel i7-1065G7 processor (8M cache) runs at the speeds between 1.30GHz and 3.90GHz with the turbo boost (4 cores and 8 threads). The Passmark benchmark score is 9017 for the at the time of this product review. 512GB Solid State Drive is a generous amount of storage if you will not be saving lots of games or other media files and it helps the system run very fast when opening files or starting or shutting down the computer.

16GB LPDDR4x at 3733MHz would be plenty for the majority of laptop users’ multitasking needs and there won’t really be any delays or freezing. It is precision cut to twp pieces from a single aluminium block to avoid the change in construction. It has a premium look and feel, a very sturdy and durable aluminium chassis with the precision engineered details, is lightweight and compact in size- has a small footprint and offers high performance levels. Corning Gorilla Glass 6 is used on this high-end laptop and is very tough, sturdy and durable, resistant to damage and looks quite nice. It comes with the two fans that are placed apart to be able to distribute the heat on a larger area. And the two heat pipes reach the hidden exhaust venting through the rear hinge.

13.4″ anti-reflective Full HD touch display has the 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 16:10 image aspect ratio. It is a very bright display with a brightness level of 500 nits, has very vivid colors, great contrast and an IPS panel with the larger viewing angles. The built-in Eyesafe display technology helps decrease the blue light that can be harmful to your eyes. You are probably aware that this is not really a gaming laptop as it doesn’t come with a dedicated graphics card but with the built-in Iris Plus graphics. Iris Plus is quite good as far as the integrated GPUs go ( a bit better than Ryzen Vega Dell New XPS 13 9300 13.4-inch InfinityEdge10 and about the same as NVIDIA MX150), with a video card benchmark score of 1836. You can still play the basic games at high settings and some of the not so demanding titles like Fortnite and Rocket Leage at lower settings and resolutions.

It comes with a great quality 2.25mm high definition webcam for your live Skype chats or when you want to take still photos. There is no Optical Drive and no ports other than the 2 x Thunderbolt 3 DisplayPorts, a microSD Card reader and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack. You’ll get a Type-C™ to USB-A v3.0 adapter included in the box. It comes with the latest Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX500-DBS and Bluetooth 5.0. You can start it instantly with the integrated lid sensor or the fingerprint reader. The keyboard is very easy to type on with the responsive and great feeling keys with a good key travel. The fans tend to run a bit during the day but they are not loud at all. This is something expected on a very powerful slim laptop. The typical Thermal Design Power is 15 watts and the battery life is around 12 hours in practice. So you can be away from the power outlets without needing to recharge it all day long.
