And you can expect more power, larger storage space and higher multitasking power etc. The quarter 2 of 2019 release tenth generation quad core ultra low voltage Intel i5-10210U processor (6MB cache) has a current Passmark benchmark score of 7000 for an advanced processing power overall for your daily and more demanding tasks on your AIO desktop machine. It works at speeds between 1.6GHz to 4.2GHz with the turbo boost function and the performance is very good for its class.

256 PCle SSD is good size as local storage if you don’t have too many games, videos or other space taking multimedia files to save. It also makes everything feel snappier, other than the start ups and opening of files. 8GB DDR4 SDRAM at 2666MHz is not too big but not small either and will satisfy the needs of the majority of computer users for multitasking. Dell Inspiron AIO already has a powerful tenth generation i5 processor that offers good multitasking and the Windows 10 operating system that starts up and shuts down quickly. So you shouldn’t really have any problems having several browser tabs and applications or software open and running at the same time. Delays or freezing are not expected and everything should run smoothly.

Windows 10 Home 64-bit OS comes pre-installed on this modern desktop PC with its user-friendly interface including a Win 7 type Start screen, Edge browser that lets you mark-up web pages, Cortana Personal Assistant and more. The typical Thermal Design Power- TDP is 15 watts as this i5 processor is mainly for mobile machines. It offers good organization with the accessories storage space and without any cables cluttering your desk.  Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, Ethernet, a USB 2.0 port, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, a Media Card Reader and a headphone/microphone combo. There is no Optical Drive but external drives are quite cheap these days and you can connect to them wirelessly through Bluetooth or ones of the USB ports.

Dell Inspiron All in One 5490 23.8 FHD Touch

The 24” anti-glare narrow border InfinityEdge FHD touchscreen with the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution looks really good from different angles with its IPS panel. It is a nice single piece of technology with everything placed into the screen. The built-in graphics card is the Intel HD 620 with an adequate performance level for daily media tasks like internet browsing, video streaming and more. This is not really a gaming machine and there is no dedicated GPU but you can play the older games fluently at higher settings and some of the more demanding games at low settings and resolutions. The overall performance of this graphics card is positioned between NVIDIA 910M and 920M and is often found on mobile processors.

It comes with two types of AC adapters, one for the US standard plugs and one for European plugs. Dell makes great computers- is one of the best brands in the world. All the ports are at the rear just like on an iMac Desktop and the mouse and the keyboard are not particularly expensive looking. But overall it is a great all-in-one desktop computer with the modern specs and features and a user-friendly interface. At the advertised price level there is no reason you shouldn’t be satisfied.
