Slate gray ASUS VivoBook F512DA-EB51 is a budget priced, mid-range, sleek and modern, thin and lightweight 15.6” laptop with a clear NanoEdge Full HD display, a quad core AMD R5 processor, good size SSD storage and memory as well as a dedicated AMD graphics card.

The 15.6-inch Full HD 4 way NanoEdge 0.3” bezel non-touch screen has an impressive 88% screen to body ratio for immersive visuals. The Radeon Vega 8 graphics card at a core close of 1100 MHz has a video card benchmark score of 1739. It offers smooth gaming at high settings for games like League of Legends (medium), Quake Champions (high), Dota 2 (low) in 720p to 1080p resolutions. You can put it somewhere between NVIDIA MX150 and 940MZ, or the Radeon Pro 555 and Radeon Pro 450. It can be used for light and slim laptops with the low power consumption with smart power saving features- TDP of 15 watts.

Asus VivoBook F512DA weighs 3.5 pounds and measures 14.1 x 9.1 x 0.75 inches- is slim, lightweight and compact. Color options for this model is slate gray, coral crush, peacock blue and transparent silver, but can only see the slate gray on Amazon at the moment and you may ask the seller if other colors are available. It is compatible with 500GB, 1TB and 2TB at 5400rpm SATA hard drives and 128GB, 256GB AND 512GB SATA3 M.2 solid state drives according to the Asus Support Team. The 8GB DDR4 RAM can also be upgraded as there is a second slot free, supports up to 32GB. Other than the small ergonomic issues like the hard edge below the keyboard it offers good value for money- power, performance, design, connectivity at a reasonable price.
