The latest 2021 model Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD touch display, tenth generation Intel i5-1035G1 processor, 256GB Solid State Drive, 16GB DDR4 memory, Windows 10 Home operating system that can be upgraded to the latest Windows 11, HD webcam and modern connectivity options.  

The quarter two of 2019 release, tenth generation quad core Intel i5-1035G1 processor (6M cache, 8 threads with hyper threading) works at a base speed of 1.0 GHz and a turbo speed of 3.60GHz. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score is 7809 on the day of this review for performing both your day-to-day and demanding tasks easily. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 15 watts for an average battery life of up to 7.5 hours at the low light settings. 

RAM on the Dell Inspiron 15 is upgraded to 16GB high-bandwidth one for letting you run different browser tabs and applications at the same time. This is supported by the decent multitasking power of the Intel i5-1035G1 processor. And the also upgraded 256GB CIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive offers an adequate amount of storage for your daily regular and multimedia files and much higher speed than the regular SATA HDD hard drive CIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive for quicker data transfers and boot ups. Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system with a user-friendly interface is pre-installed on this machine.

15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare LED-backlit touch display with the narrow borders has the 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution and WVA (Wide Viewing Angle) panel which is basically a better TN panel. Intel UHD G1 graphics card with  clocks at 300 – 1050 MHz and 32 of the 64 CUs is a bit slower than the UHD G4 and G7 variants and faster than the older UHD 620 graphics. And you can only play a few modern games and at the lower settings and resolution. There is a 720p built-in HD webcam with the dual array microphones for your live chats with friends and family and online education. And the sound quality is good through the stereo speakers. It first became available on April 19, 2021 and has an impressive average user rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars by 8 customers at the moment. Overall we think that it is a decent configuration of a powerful processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD and good connectivity at a good price.
