2020 Dell Latitude 7000 7390 13.3 Corning FHD

2020 Dell Latitude 7000 7390 is a business laptop with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Full HD touch display, 8th generation Intel i5-8350U processor, 256GB SSD, 8GB memory, Win 10 Pro operating system, backlit keyboard, and decent connectivity options including a Type-C port and advanced 4G LTE.

The last quarter of 2017 release quad core ultra low voltage Intel i5-8350U processor (6MB L3 cache, 4 cores and 8 threads) works at speeds between a base of 1.7GHz and a turbo max speed of 3.6GHz. The PassMark benchmark score is 7456 for this high end processor and the TDP- Thermal Design Power is 15 watts for an extended battery life when you’re out of the office or home all day long without needing to recharge it.

8GB DDR4 SDRAM is plenty of memory and multitasking capability at this level and the majority of users will probably not need more. After all this is not a gaming machine that will be pushed to the limit. 256GB M.2 Solid State Drive is the same with adequate storage space and lots of speed especially when you’re opening your standard or multimedia files. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version has all the familiar and modern features of the regular Win 10 Home, plus the enhanced security for your laptop and data.

The built-in Intel UHD 620 graphics with the Video Card benchmark score of 1058 is as good as the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 920M. It is perfectly fine for daily use and for some gaming as long as you don’t play the latest demanding games. It shares the memory of the Intel i5-8350U processor but you’ll be fine as the 8GB is more than adequate. The 13.3″ Full HD matte display with the non-PWM dimming has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution for a very clear picture with great contrast and vivid colors with a high color gamut when viewed at different angles thanks to the IPS panel.

There is a 720p high definition front webcam for your live conference calls on Skype. You don’t have an optical DVD Drive on this model but the RJ-45 Ethernet connector, Wireless-AC 8265 wireless + Bluetooth 4.2, built-in 4G LTE Sim Card Slot, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, an HDMI output, 65 Watt AC Adapter and an 2020 Dell Latitude 7000 7390 13.3 Corning Full HDaudio combo jack. With the Dell Business Dock – WD15 that you can purchase separately you can transfer from your desk work smoothly via the USB-C dock with the super fast data transfers.

13.3″ Dell Latitude 7390 has a premium aluminum-magnesium chassis, weighs only 3.12 pounds and is smaller in size than most other 13″ laptops on the market with its dimensions of 0.6H x 12W x 8.2D inches. It is even smaller than the 12.5″ Lenovo ThinkPad X280. It makes a great compact laptop for business professionals that want mobility. It is built from one block of aluminum to offer you durability and a premium look and feel. The quad core processor performs around 40% faster and better overall than the previous dual core versions. This Dell Latitude 7390 seems to be a decent, compact and portable business all rounder with the great user-friendly features.
