Glossy warm golden gradient finish black Asus X555LA looks modern and elegant, has a sturdy build and looks more expensive than it is, weighs just over 5 pounds and measures 15.04 x 10.08 x 1.02 inches- average weight and thickness despite not having a touch display so it is not for those on the go a lot.

There is no integrated Bluetooth but you can easily get a cheap USB dongle with the purchase of this PC. 15.6 inch high definition LED-backlit non-touch display with 1366x768 pixel resolution and Intel HD graphics 5500 that performs better than Intel HD 4400 and 5000 and you can play both the older titles at high settings and newer titles at low settings. Early 2015 release Intel i3-5020U has the Passmark benchmark score of 3169 which means it is a high to mid-range processor that is very capable for daily and more complex stuff but because it lacks the turbo boost function performance for single thread is a little low.

2016 Asus X555LA Flagship 15.6 inch with i3-5020U

4GB is not a lot of memory but is adequate for multitasking of daily tasks to smoothly run several browsers and apps at this price point and 1TB is a lot of storage space for saving lots of music, digital photos, high definition videos and DVD movies. It comes with just a 2-cell polymer battery but the processor is the ultra low voltage variety offering energy efficiency with a TDP of 15 watts so battery life is around 6 hours on average use and has a chiclet style ergonomic keyboard for comfy typing and Clickpad with smart gesture support. Asus is one of the top computer brands with happy customers worldwide and although this is a low cost machine it comes with decent mid-range specs and there aren’t any major cons we can point out if you will be using it for daily use for students and to be used for both home entertainment and businesses and it can easily handle multimedia and office- multitasking and demanding apps. This is quite a good deal for the price level and 4GB memory would be adequate for most users’ needs as it runs quite smoothly and you can upgrade it to up to 12GB but the whole bottom part needs to be dismantled but It includes a 1 year warranty for parts and labor by Asus, which is a very reliable manufacturer.
