Black Lenovo IdeaCentre H530 (57328304) with the 4th generation Intel i5 processor, large amounts of storage and system memory, great multimedia features and connectivity options to handle all daily computing tasks smoothly, is good for both work or entertainment and it is sold at an affordable price for all that it is offering.

Lenovo H530 has the Haswell quad core Intel i5-4460 (6MB L3 cache) processor with a Passmark CPU Benchmark score of 6810 at 3.2GHz speed up to 3.4GHz with turbo boost when you need extra speed and smart four way processing power, 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM memory at 1600 MHz that is expandable up to 16GB to handle very demanding applications, spacious 1TB (1024GB) SATA hard drive at 7200rpm that can accommodate pretty much all your files and you’ll never be out of space with faster read and write times, backup and restore security options and the latest 64-bit version of Windows 8.1 operating system.

Integrated graphics card is the Intel HD 4600 with the shared video memory, that is much faster (up to 60% and 30% for gaming benchmarks) than the Intel HD 4000, matching the performance of discrete graphics cards like NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M and can be compared with AMD Radeon 8650G and has a fairly low energy consumption rate. This is a good computer for home entertainment thanks to also the DVD Drive, HDMI port and the 5.1 surround sound support- great for watching movies, listening to songs and playing some games- in terms of the most advanced games at high settings you will be restricted with the integrated graphics rather than the CPU but you’ll be fine at lower resolutions and settings.

Conclusion: Black and grey Lenovo IdeaCentre H530 (57328304) is an affordable modern desktop PC with a great simplistic design that is suitable for both home entertainment and work purposes- it will help increase your productivity and perform well in pretty much anything with its powerful 64-bit Intel i5-4460 processor 8GB memory and 1TB hard drive, DVD drive and a range of useful connectivity options. One of the customers complained about the keyboard and mouse- lack of light on Capslock and mouse to let you know it is on but you can always get a suitable keyboard and mouse paying a bit extra- if it is not really comfortable, as we haven’t had a chance to test the unit. And of course some usual complaints about Windows 8, but again it is a short learning curve with most people, especially with the new Windows 8.1. You get 1 month trial versions of Microsoft Office 2013 and McAfee Internet Security and it comes with a 1 year limited hardware- parts and labor warranty and 24/7 customer support. It is a great product with good performance levels at a reasonable price.
