HP Stream 14-cb116ds is a 14-inch laptop with the entry level specs of Celeron N4000 processor at 1.1GHz with the turbo boost function, UHD 600 graphics card, 64GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB DDR4 RAM memory, Windows 10 Home operating system in S mode, HP webcam with dual speakers and good connectivity options including 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth and 2 x USB 3.1 ports.

HP Stream 14 first became available at Amazon.com on April 12, 2021 and the average customer rating is 4.2 out of 5 stars by 11 users at the time of this post release. It can be used for school, office, home entertainment and light gaming. It is lightweight and sturdy and can be taken anywhere you go easily with also its long battery life. You can be out and about without needing to look for a power outlet. It has a full size keyboard that is comfortable and easy to type on.

14-inch anti-glare LED-backlit display has the HD display with the 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and you can watch shows and Youtube videos in high definiton resolution with the 1 million pixels. It has the basic Intel UHD 600 graphics card that works fine for daily use for browsing the internet and straming and watching Youtube videos. You can expect around 6-7 hours of battery life in practice from its 3-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion with the typical TDP- Thermal Design Power if you’re just watching videos, web browsing at the low to medium settings.

Intel Celeron N4000 is a dual core processor with two threads (without hyperthreading) that was released in the second quarter of 2018. It works at the speeds between 1.1GHz and 2.6GHz with the turbo boost function and gives you a reasonable multitasking power. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score of 1441 is equal to entry level to lower mid-range performance for daily computing tasks. 64GB eMMC flash storage isHP Stream - 14-cb116ds Intel Celeron N4000 not a lot of storage space as almost half of it will be taken up by the Windows operating system. And the speed is higher than the regular SATA hard drive.

4GB RAM (1 x 4GB) is basic amount of memory but will be sufficient at this level. You can open different browser tabs and a couple of applications at the same time without encountering delays or problems. There is no Optical DVD Drive but comes with the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.2, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, a multi-formatSD Media Card Reader, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output, a headphone / microphone combo, 2 x USB 3.1 gen 1 for data transfer and 45 AC power adapter. It comes with a free trial of Microsoft Office and you can add payment to purchase it lifetime. It is a fairly fast computer that is quick and easy to set up and you shouldn’t encounter major problems for day-to-day use.
