Inspiron 2350 model PC reviewed on this page is the latest 2015 model 23.8 inch touchscreen All-in-One desktop by Dell with a fourth generation Intel i7 processor with a Passmark benchmark score of 8003 at this time and a Thermal Design Power of 47 watts that can handle even the extremely demanding apps and programs, a hybrid hard drive for both storage space and faster start-ups, a dedicated AMD Radeon graphics card, Full HD IPS touch display, Waves MaxxAudio and more.
Dell Inspiron 2350 comes with the quad core Haswell Intel i7-4710MQ processor (6M cache) at 2.5 GHz up to 3.5 GHz speed with turbo boost and hyper threading for 4 cores to handle 8 threads in parallel, 12GB dual channel (8GB +4GB) DDR3L SDRAM at 1600MHz for much better multitasking power, 1TB Serial ATA hard drive at 5400rpm spindle speed as large storage with 32GB Solid State Drive to load Windows quickly and 64-bit English Windows 8.1 operating system that is good to use with a touch display PC and you will soon be able to download Windows 10 free of charge.
23.8 inch Full HD Truelife LED-backlit IPS touch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and wide viewing angles offers superior image quality and the multitouch function is good to have with Windows 8 apps. Graphics card is the AMD Radeon HD 8690A with 2GB dual channel GDDR5 dedicated video memory which is OK for general multimedia tasks and you also have the integrated Intel HD 4600 that is about 60 percent faster than the Intel HD 4000 (30 percent more for gaming) so as long as you do not want to play the latest 3D games at high settings and resolutions (you’ll need to turn it down to 1024 x 768) you’ll be fine. It has a very good quality Full HD webcam with integrated dual digital array microphone for those live chats with family and friends. You’ll hear HD quality audio through the built-in stereo speakers professionally tuned with MaxxAudio by Waves but it is somewhat soft and not the best- small speakers due to the very slim form factor.
Black front with silver trim rear Dell Inspiron 23.8 inch display AIO weighs 15.8 pounds and measures 13.68 x 1.06 x 22.40 inches (stand weighs around 2.5 to 3 lbs and is not VESA mountable), looks very nice with it is slim and elegant aluminium and steel design with smooth edges. With the innovative hinge you can place the screen at almost any angle even flat on the surface to use a bit like a tablet and you can use it at any height on your desk or kitchen counter. This is a great quality All-in-One PC so you have the large touch screen as well as the Dell KM713 Wireless Keyboard and mouse set included. You’ll find the power button and 3 OSD keys on the side of the slim display. There is no optical drive but the faster 802.11ac wireless with larger coverage + Bluetooth 4.0 (Dual Band 2.4&5 GHz), Gigabit Ethernet with RJ-45, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI in and out, 1x Audio Line out, 1x Microphone/headphone jack, 1x 2.5 inch hard drive bay. For audio you may need to connect external speakers for decent audio quality.
Conclusion: Dell Inspiron 2350 is the perfect space saving type computer that offers great versatile and smooth experience to have for anything other than gaming and this includes advanced multimedia editing and software like CAD and it is great for any general use at home for both work and entertainment. It is very easy to set up and doesn’t come with much bloatware so it is basically a plug and play but you get 12 month subscription to the McAfee LiveSafe antivirus. We like the large 12GB memory, the hybrid hard drive of very large HDD (despite being only 5400rpm speed) and small amount of SSD which will help more with very fast boot-ups, awesome picture quality on the FHD with IPS screen and the dedicated Radeon HD 8690A graphics that will not let you play the very demanding games at high settings and can’t be great for 3D graphics but for general graphics tasks, partnered with Intel i7 processor and 12GB memory it will perform very well. At the price range you’re getting quite a bit for the money and at 15.8 pound weight it is not very light but should be fine as long as you don’t move it around a lot (OK to move around the house though) and it is only half an inch thin on the sides and you won’t have any cable clutter on your desk as all you have is a single power cord that attaches to the back of the base, mouse and keyboard are wireless and all the ports are also located at the rear of the base rather than on the monitor so if you connect peripherals you will not have any cables hanging from the back of the monitor. You’ll get 12 month limited hardware warranty as well as remote diagnosis and onsite service by Dell.
