Asus Q502LA-BBI5T12 is a great looking 15.6 inch 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop with higher specs and features such as a 4th generation mid-range Intel i5 processor, large amounts of storage space and system memory, a backlit keyboard, long battery life, IPS display, faster 802.11ac wireless technology with the obvious functionality of being a convertible PC. It has a mid-range price tag and doesn’t seem to sacrifice specs and features for the sake of being a tablet and laptop in one.

Asus Q502LA comes with a Haswell dual core ultra low voltage Intel i5-4210U processor (3MB L3 cache) with a base speed of 1.7 GHz up to 2.7GHz with turbo boost that gives you more speed when the task at hand requires it and stay at lower speeds for less power usage when you don’t need the speed and hyper threading that enables four way smart processing- dual cores being able to handle four threads in parallel. The maximum power consumption (TDP- Thermal Design Power) is only 15 watts, which helps the long battery life on a single charge and the overall durability.

It offers very decent multitasking power with the 8GB DDR3 SDRAM memory that is expandable to 12 GB, 1TB hard drive at 5400rpm rotating speed as quite a large space for your files- photos, movies, songs and fairly fast read and write times. 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system with its extra features, enhanced performance, ability to customise more as well as a more familiar screen and start button option for those that favour Windows 7. Intel HD 4400 is better than the HD 4000 but still not adequate for playing the latest games at high resolutions. It is a decent modern computer overall that offers flexibility, functionality and modern day features at a fair price.
