The Intel i7-9750H is a six-core processor at speeds between 2.6 and 4.5GHz, handling six cores and 12 threads in parallel simultaneously with the hyper threading feature. The Coffee Lake structure is similar to the previous version Kaby Lake processor except for the extra two cores and the enhanced 14nm++ process. It has a decent Passmark benchmark score of 13740, listed as a high-end processor that can handle the most advanced and demanding games and apps.

16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 memory at 2666MHz memory is quite a good size for most users’ multitasking needs and they can run multiple apps and browsers at once without any delays or freezing. The system supports a maximum memory of 64GB, if any of you will need that much RAM. And the maximum supported RAM speed is 2666MHz. The 512GB NVMe SSD helps with much quicker opening of files and overall snappier feel when you’re using the computer for different tasks and gaming. It also offers a good size storage for you to save your files, music, videos or games on a local drive. It has a single m.2 slot occupied by the 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 2.5” bay is empty- available if you want to put in a 1TB hard drive.

The built-in graphics card on this CPU is the Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU that is similar in performance to the Intel HD 530 and 630 for entry level, not so demanding games, with a video card benchmark score of 1212. On this brand new release MSI GF75 you won’t rely on this UHD 630 iGPU for your gaming performance as it comes with the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 [Max-Q] 4G GDDR5 with a benchmark score of 7804 as a high-end graphics card for advanced gaming.

It has a good quality 720p HD webcam for Skype chats or gaming purposes and two 2-watt speakers. It comes with the a 3-cell 51Whr lithium polymer battery that can last up to 7 hours for average productivity tasks.

MSI GF75 THIN is a very decent gaming laptop but has the sharp edges at the bottom if you want to use it by putting it on your lap etc. The screen does not have the touch functionality, but the keyboard (QWERTY US version) and touchpad are very decent and ergonomic. The cooling system on the MSI GF75 is great with two fans, four exhausts and seven heat pipes for a better gaming experience. You can’t upgrade the graphics card, but it will be more than adequate for most gamers. You won’t get the accessories like a separate keyboard, mouse, headset or gaming controller included with your purchase and you need to pay extra if there is no promotion on the day.
