MSI PS63 Modern-096 is a powerful hot new release 15.6-inch ultra slim and lightweight professional laptop with the GTX1050Ti dedicated graphics card, an eighth generation Intel i7 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory and the large 512GB Solid State Drive. There aren’t many reviews online yet but the average is 4.5 out of 5 stars so far.
The Quarter 2 of 2018 release ultra low voltage quad core Intel i7-8565U processor runs at a base speed of 1.8GHz up to 4.6GHz with the turbo boost function. The typical Thermal Design Power is 15 watts on this ultra low voltage modern processor for a longer battery life. The built-in graphics card is the Intel UHD 620 with a performance level between the NVIDIA GeForce 910M and 920M dedicated graphics cards for handling the daily media tasks.
8GB DDR4 SDRAM at 2666MHz should give you sufficient multitasking power. The maximum supported memory size is 32GB if you wish to add more on its two sockets. 512GB M. 2 SATA Solid State Drive has both the storage size and much higher speed than regular HDD for opening the files quicker, starting the PC much faster. Windows 10 comes pre-installed on the MSI PS63 Laptop and starts and shuts down much faster than before and has a user-friendly interface if you’re not familiar with it yet.
The 15.6-inch Full HD 100% sRGB non-touch anti-glare screen with the thin bezel has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, good contrast, vibrant colors, 16:9 image aspect ratio and the IPS panel for 178-degree viewing angles vertically and horizontally. It comes with the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050Ti (Max-Q) graphics card with the 4G GDDR5 dedicated memory for an advanced multimedia and gaming performance. The video card benchmark score is currently 6053, The 720p high definition webcams good for your Skype calls and taking still shots.
Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, 2 x USB 3.1 ports and a microSD Card Reader on the right side, a USB 3.1 (Type-A) port, USB Type-C port, an HDMI output, and a headphone/microphone jack on the left side. There is no optical drive and you can connect and external drive via Bluetooth or one of the USB ports. Ethernet adapter is included in the package for wires internet 
connection. It is slim and lightweight- weighs only 3.53 pounds with the dimensions of 14.05L x 9.2W x 0.63H inches, meaning it is just 0.63 inches thick. The top lid section is made of aluminum and the rest is solid plastic.
You can upgrade the memory without voiding the warranty if you don’t damage the system. But it will be voided if you attempt to put another m.2 SSD on the other socket. It comes with two M.2 / PCIe SSD slots. It is suitable for use in North America and you need a plug adapter if you’ll be using it on the European voltage. This MSI laptop has the power and raw performance of a decent gaming laptop but doesn’t look like one, is built sturdy, the screen quality is good with FHD resolution and thin bezels, is easy on the eyes, and has decent connectivity options and with a reasonable price for what it is.
