Being a high value item you’ll be required to sign upon delivery. You have the different versions that cost up to a few hundred dollars less, but they’re all powerful gaming desktops. You can get exactly the same specs with a 15.6″ display at about 100 dollars less if 17.3″ is too big for you and you may want more pixel density on your display. You may want to pay 200 dollars less and get this 15.6″ with the RTX 2060 graphics card or pay 400 dollars less and get it with the GTX 1660 Ti graphics card.

These are all great dedicated graphics cards but the RTX2070 on the most expensive models is quite special. It has an 8G GDDR6 dedicated memory. The MSI GP75 has a large Full HD display with the refresh rate of 240Hz 3ms and IPS panel and 100% sRGB color gamut. Sounds quality is quite decent with the Nahimic 3 Hi-Res Audio and through the two x 3-watt giant speakers. It has the Intel UHD 630 iGPU built into the system and is only good for the regular daily graphics tasks and only some of the latest games at the reduced settings and resolutions.

The 10th generation Intel i7-10750H processor (12MB cache) works on 6 cores and 12 threads at a base speed of 2.6GHz and up to 5.0GHz with the turbo boost function. 512GB NVMe Solid State Drive is very fast, makes everything feels snappy on the computer and gives you good amount of storage space for your games, videos and music. The high bandwidth 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 SDRAM at 2666MHz lets you run different apps and browser tabs at the same time. There won’t be any lagging or freezing as the dedicated GPU has its own dedicated memory and doesn’t use any of the 16GB.

This total RAM is placed on two sockets and can be upgraded up to 64GB. You can also upgrade the SSD via the regular drive slot or two additional PCIe NVM.2 slots. Connectivity options include the latest Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2*2 ax), Bluetooth 5.1, 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI output that supports 4K @ 30Hz, mDP v1.2*1, 1/1 SPDIF audio port, an SD (XC/HC) Media MSI GP75 Leopard 10SFK-219 17.3 gamingCard Reader and 230W AC power adaptor. There is no optical drive on this gaming laptop and if you’ll be playing games from CDs or DVDs then it is easy to connect a drive via USB or Bluetooth.

It has a good quality 720p HD webcam and good internal microphone. The 6-cell 51Whr lithium ion battery will only last two to three hours at lower brightness settings. The quarter one of 2020 release 6-core Intel i7-10750H processor has an overall Passmark benchmark score of 12860 and performs a bit better than the previous generation Intel i7-9750H. You can run even the very demanding applications without problems. But in the long-run the level of performance will rely on your machine’s cooling system. The maximum Thermal Design Power- TDP is 175 watts for this high end dedicated graphics card.

You can play most of the latest triple A games at the highest settings and 4K resolution. Aluminum black MSI GP75 weighs 5.73 pounds and measures 15.63 x 9.76 x 1.08 inches. The lid on this laptop is metal but the palmrest, keyboard area and the bottom section are solid plastic. Fans on this laptop can make a bit of noise, especially in the turbo cooler mode, just like with the other powerful gaming laptops. The build quality is very good with the powerful hardware and components. Laptop itself is easy on the eyes with its beautiful design. And the MSI Dragon Center will monitor the health and everything else on your laptop and keep your drivers up to date. We think it is worth considering for the build quality, great looks, power and speed. And you may want to check out the battery life, audio quality, battery life and fan noise.
