HP X360 14″ Chromebook 2-in-1 FHD Laptop Review
HP X360 Chromebook is a 2-in-1 laptop with a 14″ Full HD IPS touch display that rotates around a 360-degree hinge to be used in different modes. It comes with a quad core Pentium N5000 processor, 64GB eMMC flash storage, 100GB Google One, 4GB DDR4 memory, Chrome operating system, good connectivity, Bang & Olufsen sound, HD webcam and more.
The quarter one of 2018 release quad core Pentium Silver N5000 (4M cache) has a base speed of 1.1GHz that goes up to 2.7GHz burst frequency as needed by the tasks. It has a PassMark benchmark score of 2801 as a mid-range processor on the day of this product review. It offers enough power for your daily tasks on Chrome OS and mid-range multitasking. 4GB DDR4 SDRAM at 2400MHz is good enough for efficient multitasking at this price level for a budget priced Chromebook.
64GB eMMC flash storage is hardly enough as some of it will be taken up by the operating system. But you always have the Cloud storage to access your regular and multimedia files wherever you have internet. Chrome OS has a user-friendly interface that feels just like being on the Chrome browser. And you have many online and offline Google apps to replace your favorite Windows apps. You also do not need to worry much about the virus attacks as it comes with the built-in security features.
14″ diagonal Full HD anti-glare micro-edge widescreen display has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and IPS panel for 178-degree viewing angles. It has the built-in Intel UHD 605 graphics card that is fine for daily media tasks and playing the Chrome games. Sound quality is good through the dual speakers and B&O Audio. Connectivity options 
include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 5, 2 x USB 3.1 gen 1 Type-C ports, a USB 3.1 gen 1 Type-A port for only the data transfer, a microSD Media Card Reader, and a Headphone/Microphone combo jack.
Natural silver HP X360 Chromebook weighs 4.77 pounds and measures 8.9L x 12.76W x 0.74H inches for easy portability. The TDP- typical Thermal Design Power is only 6 watts on the Pentium Silver N5000 and can be cooled passively. There is a HP Wide Vision HD webcam on the top bezel with the built-in dual array digital microphone for your live video chats or taking still photos. With a videocard benchmark score of 356, if the UHD 605 GPU was used on a Windows machine we’d say it would only be suitable for very basic Windows games like Sims 4. But this is a Chromebook, so you shouldn’t have problems with the Chrome games overall.
