The quarter one of 2022 release 12th generation octa-core Intel i5-12450H processor (12M cache, 8 cores, 12 performance + efficient threads) works at the speeds between 2.0GHz base and 4.4GHz with the turbo boost function. High-bandwidth 8 GB DDR4 SDRAM (1 x 8GB) at 3200MHz is a medium amount of memory that offers good multitasking to have different browser tabs and programs simultaneously, advanced photo and video editing and mid-range gaming. 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD offers up to 15 times more speed than a regular HDD SATA hard drive and a large storage space unless you save a lot of games and video on the local drive. Windows 11 Home has a brand new Start menu and user interface that looks like the Mac OS’ with the rounded corners.

15.6-inch diagonal Full HD micro-edge, anti-glare LED-backlit display has the 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, 9ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate with reduced image ghosting or lagging that can get frustrating and you can have a crisp and smooth gameplay on its 1080p FHD resolution screen. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card has the 4GB GDDR5HP - Victus 15.6 Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i5-12450H Ports dedicated memory and a decent video card benchmark score of 6969. You can play many of the latest demanding games at the higher settings and resolutions and frame rates per second. It offers dynamic, loud and clear sound with the Bang & Olufsen Audio and dual speakers and smart amplification technology.

You have the HP Wide Vision 720p HD webcam on the top bezel with the built-in dual array digital microphone and temporal noise reduction. With the 88-degree, wide angle field of view you can chat with a large group of people in very clear detail. It has the backlit full gaming keyboard with Omen Gaming Hub key and a larger HP Imagepad with multi-touch gesture support. There is no optical DVD drive and the connectivity options include the 802.11ax WiFi 6 wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 RJ-45 connector, an HDMI 2.1 output, a USB Type-C port, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, Media Card Reader and headphone/microphone combo.

Mica silver with black chrome logo HP Victus has a solid plastic case, weighs 5.06 pounds and measures 14.09 x 10.4 x 0.93 inches, which is fairly lightweight and slim for a 15.6-inch gaming laptop but still not that portable. It has a 3-cell lithium ion battery and with the HP Fast Charge you can recharge the battery from zero to 50% in about half an hour. It is cooled efficiently even under heavy load of gaming and long video streaming thanks to the updated thermal design. It has the two memory slots and one of them is occupied by the 8GB stick. It is an Energy Star certified and EPEAT qualified machine with the silver EPEAT level. The warranty offered is one year by the manufacturer for parts and labor.
