Pearl white HP Pavilion 15-n207nr is a sleek and modern notebook with mid-range specs and features- a 15.6 inch touch display, relatively good performance levels with the quad core AMD A6 processor, large amounts of storage and hard drive, DVD Optical Drive that doesn’t exist on many modern day computers if you play or burn DVDs. The model that is reviewed on this page is manufacturer certified refurbished- meaning it may show very small or no wear, is fixed, upgraded and re-certified and comes with the original accessories.

HP Pavilion has a quad core AMD A6-5200 processor (2 MB Cache) at 2.0GHz speed with no turbo boost, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM for smooth performance and multitasking, 750GB Serial ATA hard drive as decent amount of storage for all your multimedia and regular files and the 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system. This AMD CPU with the Pasmark benchmark score of 2437 was released in mid 2013 and is normally used in entry level laptops despite being a quad core processor, performance for single cores is not great but it is much better in multi-threaded applications and the overall performance and multitasking capabilities here are enhanced by the 8GB system memory.

The screen is 15.6 inch diagonal BrightView Active Matrix TFT Color LED backlit with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution so things do look good on the screen widescreen with 16:9 cinematic aspect ratio. The graphics card is the Radeon HD 8400 with a shared memory (of the DDR3L SDRAM) capacity up to 3.98GB and it is more like the advanced versions of Intel HD 4000 so don’t expect to play the current 3D games but you’ll be fine with other graphics tasks. Keyboard is comfy and ergonomic with the 10-key numeric pad for quicker number crunching and with touchpad that supports multiple gestures. It has a decent quality webcam that is good enough for those live chats with family and friends.
