Inspiron weighs 3.66 pounds and measures 12.99 x 8.74 x 0.75 inches and being a compact and slim device it doesn’t come with an Optical Drive and no built-in Ethernet with RJ-45 (which is cheap and easy to get with a USB adapter) but include the fast and wide coverage dual band 802.11ac wireless + Bluetooth 4.0, 2 x USB 3.0 ports (one of them with Power Share), 1 x USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output for you to conveniently connect to an external display or HDTV, and 2-in-1 Media Card Reader. Everything will run smoothly and efficiently and 8GB RAM on a single socket is plenty and can not be upgraded in case you need more as a very advanced user. You don’t get an additional slot for a drive but if you are a technical person you can certainly replace it with a higher capacity SSD. It is not designed to be an advanced gaming machine as it doesn’t include an at least mid-range dedicated graphics card and you won’t really experience any lagging or freezing unless you try to play very demanding games. The price is a little higher than average, being a convertible 2-in-1 machine with i7, 8GB, SSD, a 360 rotating touch screen for tablet, stand, tent and laptop modes along with other features for business, school or daily entertainment use and it is quite a decent computer overall.
