It occupies one RAM slot and you can put another 8GB in the other slot for a maximum supported amount of 16GB. 512GB SSD is plenty of local storage space and at much higher speed than a regular SATA hard drive. Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system comes pre-installed on this machine and includes many user-friendly features. There is no optical drive if you wish to play games from DVD’s but it is easy to hook one up through Bluetooth or one of the USB ports. Battery life is not great and the fans can get a little noisy and it is a little on the heavy side, as you can expect on any gaming laptop.
