Conclusion: Asus Q501LA-BSI5T19 is a solid and well-built computer with a Full HD touchscreen that offers a super sharp display with beautiful colours and clear image, the IceCool design- heat generating components are away from your palm rest so you don’t feel heat even after hours of being on the computer, a compact body, generous amounts of memory and hard drive meaning advanced multitasking and plenty of storage for all your files (5400rpm is equal to standard but fast enough read and write times), Bluetooth and 3 x USB 3.0 ports but no DVD drive to enhance portability, good performance levels- although not suitable for advanced gaming you will be more than fine with most things you do on a day-to-day basis. It looks stylish and modern, battery life is satisfactory, backlit keyboard is nice to have, touchpad works fine- is responsive. Windows 8 would be the biggest problem for most here but having the touch display makes it easier and the lack of DVD Drive may be another but not many people are needing or using them these days- being slightly older technology and the battery is not easy to replace. But it sure is overall a great computer at a rather affordable price.
