The processor has a speed of anything from anywhere between 2.2 GHz to 3.2 GHz. Turbo Boost technology that Intel i7 quad core processor comes with allows the machine to automatically adjust its speed, depending on the tasks and workload. While it is a fast machine, it doesn't use up much power when working on easier tasks. So Acer Aspire V3 provides a great balance between power consumption and performance.
17.3" full HD screen with 1920x1080 pixels resolution (Acer CineCrystal HD display) lets you work on a large screen that is sharp and clear and makes it easier to watch movies or shows from the internet or its 8x DVD Super-Multi drive. And when you wish to watch your movies on even a larger screen, you can do that by connecting Acer Aspire V3's HDMI port with your big screen LCD TV. It also comes with a capable 1280 x 720 Acer Crystal Eye HD Webcam.
Movies and music sound great with the built-in stereo speakers (Dolby Home Theater v4).
It has four memory sockets, and can handle up to 32GB of memory in total, but the machine comes with 8GB of memory. Although 1TB Hard Disk is more than plenty for most, this Acer comes with an empty disk drive bay that allows you to add a second hard drive easily.
