But if you need even better performance to run AutoCAD or other memory sucking software, you may want to upgrade it to 8GB RAM and get a solid state drive to boot up faster as well.

I wouldn't want to comment on the Windows 8 as everyone has a different taste, some like it and others don't. You can upgrade it to the newer Windows 8.1- it is available for free on the Windows website for existing Win 8 users.
