HP Pavilion 500-281 Desktop PC with Windows 7
via Amazon

Black HP Pavilion 500-281 is a very flexible and modern Windows 7 desktop with a strong 4th generation Intel i3 cpu, plenty of storage space, great graphics capabilities, immersive surround sound and a good range of connectivity ports, that will be good at whatever you need it to do.. Please note that this HP is more than a day-to-day computer despite its low price for all that it offers.. No doubt you're going to like it.

A very capable and fast Haswell Intel i3-4130 processor at super 3.4 GHz speed, 4 GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM for more than adequate multitasking- to be able to run several things at the same time and without delays or freezing- but can also be expanded up to 16 GB if you want even better performance, 1 TB SATA hard drive at 7200 rpm rotating speed- both the storage size and the speed are better than most of its competition (considering its price) and the 64-bit variety of Windows 7 Home Premium, that is much more preferred to the Windows 8 and 8.1.

HP Pavilion 500-281 desktop comes with an Intel HD 4400 graphics card for good performance in gaming and multimedia editing and DTS Sound+ system for an impressive surround sound experience with loud, rich and clear audio including deep bass..

You probably won't be able to play the very demanding titles at higher settings as it is an integrated iGPU, but definitely more powerful than the Intel HD 4000. It has a comfortable chiclet style USB keyboard with volume control and an optical mouse, and weighs less than 16lbs with dimensions of 19.53 x 6.91 x 14.48 inches.

It is not short of a variety of useful connectivity options like wireless LAN 802. 11b/g/n featuring Single-band (2.4Ghz), 10/100/1000 BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 4 x USB 2.0 Ports, 6 x USB 3.0 Ports for way quicker transfers of data, SuperMulti DVD Burner optical drive, 1 headphone, 1 microphone, 3 PCIe x1, 1 PCIe x16, 1 mini PCIe x1 and a 7-in-1 memory card reader.

Conclusion: First thing that stands out with the HP Pavilion 500-281 is its nice and contemporary looks, then you turn it on and start using it.. You realize how easy it is to set it up and how fast you get to do everything- without lags or delays and multiple tasks at the same time.. Great concert-like sound, beautiful picture, a powerful Haswell processor, lots of storage space, a total of 10 USB ports, an ergonomic keyboard and all at a reasonable price.
