Bright 17.3 inch HDF WLED display at 1600x900 pixel resolution and Intel HD Graphics are great for movies, games and anything you do on the computer. I like the spill-resistant keyboard as anyone can easily spill their drinks into the laptop- It happened to me a couple of times and was nightmare to get the laptop fixed. Touchpad is sufficient but you can always get a wireless or wired mouse if it will be easier and faster for you. You also have the 10 key numeric keypad for easier number crunching.
You can easily get a bit over 6 hours at maximum screen brightness and you will be able to charge the battery from 0% in less than 2 hours. Wireless type is the standard 802.11bgn, data transfers are speedy through the 4 x USB 3.0 ports, you can connect to your HDTV through the HDMI port. You also get Bluetooth tied to wireless card, RJ45, 2 X USB 2.0 ports, built-in optical drive and an 8 in 1 media card reader.
Although the moon silver Dell Inspiron is lighter and slimmer than the previous Dell laptops, it can appear a bit bulky to some, also partly because of its big 17 inch screen.
Conclusion: Dell Inspiron 17 i17RM 2419sLV is a great product overall with speed, multitasking ability, crisp and clear images on big screen, quietness, especially if you are going to use it for normal computing tasks like browsing the internet, checking emails, chatting on Skype, word processing, doing spreadsheets, preparing school projects and more- they will all run efficiently and smoothly.
