Black Dell Inspiron i15RV-1909BLK is a 15.6 inch screen laptop, that looks pretty much like the other latest Dells- slim and modern and that is designed for everyday basics with its Intel Celeron processor. You have the same black colour, same keyboard design with a 10 key numpad, the same HD screen and the similar connectivity options as other Dells but this sameness factor is not a bad thing at all, as you seem to be getting more than what you pay for with this model. Pay attention to the price here, when we're going through the specs and features below.

The Intel Celeron processor 2955U (2M Cache) is a Haswell one at 1.4 GHz speed and you may be surprised at how smoothly it functions at a variety of tasks, but obviously not the latest games. Being a 4th generation processor, it doesn't use much power either. 4 GB RAM is a single channel DDR3 at 1600 MHz and appears to be quite a good size for a laptop at this level, so you won't have any problems while you have different tabs and programs open at the same time, system will be able to handle it just fine. 320 GB Serial ATA hard drive at 5400 RPM rotating speed is probably standard at this level and should be sufficient for an average computer user, but maybe a 500 GB hard drive could be better. I recommend you pay extra and get an SSD for super fast boot ups and overall smooth and quick operation. Windows 8 is the operating system on this Dell, which may be upgraded free of charge on the Microsoft site to the latest Windows 8.1.

Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch i15RV-1909BLK Review
One of the best features of this computer, and remember the price factor again, is the quality of the HD screen: It is a 15.6 inch LED Backlit Truelife with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and Intel HD Graphics 4400 graphics coprocessor. Sound is also a bit of a surprise, again: Waves Maxx Audio 4.0 and built-in stereo speakers deliver rich and clear sound you will enjoy while listening to songs and watching movies. It is not short of useful connectivity options either and you have the 802.11bgn wireless, 2 x USB 2.0 Ports, 2 x USB 3.0 Ports for ten times faster transfers, RJ45 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI port to hook up to your HDTV or other large screens for HD quality movie watching, a combination headphone/microphone jack, 8x DVD+/-RW Drive, a Kensington Security Lock, an 8-in-1 Multi-media Card Reader and Bluetooth 4.0. It is nice to look at with the black matte finish, textured palmrest and lid and slim design- just 1 inch thick and 4.96 lbs weight as it comes with a 4-cell/40 WHr lithium ion battery so you have something quite light and sleek here, that is fairly portable with also its 15 inch screen.

Conclusion: Dell Inspiron i15RV-1909BLK is black and beautiful with its contemporary slim design. Reasonably powerful Haswell Celeron processor, a generous RAM, an ergonomic keyboard with 10 key numeric pad for easy data entry and a multi-touchpad, compact and lightweight, a good variety of connectivity ports, decent video and audio quality, solid build, operates quietly.. So it is a good overall computer for daily tasks and well recommended unless you're looking to spend at least hundreds more.
