11.6 inch ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T-PK is a compact- lightweight and sleek, premium well crafted computer with a remarkable build quality, an Ivy Bridge Intel Core i3-3217U processor offering excellent performance, decent wireless reception, a high quality touchscreen you're going to love using with the Windows 8, beautiful sound and the secure feeling you get from using an Asus brand machine with a price tag that is hard to beat.

Intel Core i3-3217U processor at 1.8 GHz speed, 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM memory and 500 GB 5400 rpm HDD Hard Drive Serial ATA-300.. You have the Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 function that will improve the speed quickly depending on your needs, so you get noticeably great overall performance. The ASUS VivoBook has substantial power to cope with the daily tasks so you will rarely experience any delays or freezing. Super Hybrid Engine II function means you get much longer standby time.

System runs just fine with the 500 GB hard drive and it is ample space to store all your files, but if you replace it with an SSD and use an external hard drive, you're going to experience so much more speed. Operating system is the 64-bit Home Premium version of Windows 8 with its personalized tiles, which is brilliant to use on this laptop's responsive touchscreen, despite the contrary claims of many users that prefer the older Windows 7 OS.

11.6-Inch LED backlit HD touch display supporting multi-touch gestures with 1366x768 max pixel resolution and Intel GMA HD graphics gives you brilliant vivid picture and superb brightness and the touch screen is very responsive. Screen bezel is a little larger than normal so as to make the Vivobook screen sturdy enough to handle constant touching. Viewing angles are not the best but remember that you're getting so much already for your money, especially in terms of display.

Same is valid for the audio, you will enjoy the fuller bass and impressive sound by the Asus SonicMaster technology through the Bang&Olufsen integrated stereo speakers. It is definitely superior to many other laptops in the market.

ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T-PK Review
The ASUS VivoBook is very light at only 2.9 pound weight and is only 0.8 inch thick. Its 2-cell Lithium ion battery will give you around 4 to 5 hours in normal usage, but if you're running memory demanding heavy programs or playing games on it, you won't get more than 3 hours.

It comes with a QWERTY keyboard without the numeric keypad (as this is quite a compact machine with an 11.6 inch screen) that may feel a bit cramped if you have larger hands but it is quite all right to type comfortably with little errors.

Connectivity options include a 3 in 1 card reader (SD, MMC & MS), 802.11 b/g/n wireless, 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet- 1 x RJ-45 LAN, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port, 1 x VGA Video-out port, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x Combination Headphone-out and Mic-in, 1 x HDMI port, DC in Jack and a 0.3MP Camera with integrated microphone.

Conclusion: What's not so good about The ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T then? Well, the webcam is only 0.3MP so it is not the best one out there. The battery doesn't charge very quickly, it is a slow charging battery but this will only help it last longer. And there is no 10-key numpad for easier data entry- this being a small and lightweight machine.

Now just think about how much you will be paying for this superb touchscreen machine and all the great features and performance you're going to get along with a very impressive build quality. It has to be one of the greatest value laptops in the market. I have no doubt that you will be very satisfied with your purchase.
