10.1 inch Transformer Book T100HA-C4-GR is the latest 2015 release well designed and built 2-in-1 convertible laptop and tablet by Asus with the quad core Cherry Trail x5-Z8500 Intel Atom processor (2MB cache) at 1.44GHz speed up to 2.24GHz with turbo boost, 4GB LPDDR3 memory for multitasking power and responsiveness at 1066MHz, 64GB Solid State Drive (you have about 36GB for your use) and 64-bit Windows 10 operating system pre-installed that includes great new features like Cortana personal assistant, Continuum that makes the interface change according to the device you’re on- laptop, tablet or smartphone, the familiar Win 7 start menu and the Edge browser. It is up to 20% faster than the previous T100TA thanks to the newer Cherry Trail processor and 4GB memory and is good for both daily work and entertainment but not the complex programs or advanced gaming.

10 inch glossy touch display WXGA with 1280x800 pixel resolution with IPS panel offers up to 178 degree viewing angles, good quality images and decent color reproduction, Intel HD graphics (Cherry Trail) also equals to roughly 20 percent better graphics performance than the T100TA for better photo editing and video processing but lets you play only the older game titles at lower settings. It has a 5MP rear webcam and an integrated stereo array microphone that is optimised for Cortana, lithium ion battery that lasts up to 12 hours so you can be out and about all day with the power efficient processor with a Scenario Design Power- SDP of super low 2 watts (which equals to a TDP of under 4W) but will depend on your workload and is very easy to charge with the Fast Charge technology (80% in two hours and will last you up to 9.5 hours), comfy and ergonomic detachable keyboard with a touchpad that supports multiple gestures and has four neodymium magnets (magnetic hinge design) to enable easy and strong connection with the display when docked- very fast switching between the tablet and laptop modes.

Gray Transformer Book T100HA weighs 2.28 pounds and measures 6.90 x 10.40 x 0.70 inches- very thin and lightweight, easy to carry around. Connectivity options include the 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro HDMI, a Headphone/ Microphone jack, the faster USB 3.0 Type-C port with a two-sided design (so no guessing for up or down), a standard micro USB connector, a USB 2.0 port when keyboard is connected and an SD Card Reader. It is built as a very solid unit- tested for reliability, will fit in your bag or purse easily so you can take it on trips, to coffee shops, work or beach, comes with little junkware, has a bright screen, but sound is not amazing, keyboard is not wireless and the connection socket is in the middle, Office mobile lets you read documents and spreadsheets but not edit in offline mode, hinge lets the screen go back to about 65 degrees (you can’t have the screen facing away from keyboard). Some of you may prefer Android tablets mainly for its apps and because they are used to the operating system but quite honestly there is also a lot online for Windows and it will be very similar to using your Windows laptop screen. It is not quite like a high end tablet or a high end laptop but is still very functional in both tablet and laptop modes and at such an affordable price you’re getting two devices so you don’t have to buy a separate tablet.
