You can upgrade the memory up to 32GB if 8GB is not enough for your needs but you need to replace the existing one rather than adding more, as there is a single RAM slot available. There is a standard quality VGA webcam on the top bezel so you can only expect average video quality when you’re chatting on Skype. There is no Solid State Drive on this Asus but a 1TB very large mechanical drive with 5400 rpm speed which you can remove and replace with SSD as there isn’t a second space for storage. The keyboard is not backlit but includes nicely spaced out keys, a 10-key numeric pad and a large trackpad without the left and right click buttons. You can’t really expect advanced gaming performance here since what you have is the Intel HD 620 as the graphics card and there is no dedicated GPU, so you can play some of the older titles at FHD resolution and high settings and the newer titles at very much reduced settings. Asus makes great quality computers and is known to be one of the best computer brands- both laptop and desktop, and this one is suitable for pretty much any complex work and entertainment stuff other than gaming.
